On September 11th, 2001, there was a terrorist attack in the United States of America.
Terrorists hijacked airplanes and crashed them in New York City, in Washington, and in Pennsylvania.
There were many dead : 2,977 people died.
Today, September 11th is called Patriot Day, in remembrance of the heroes of that day.
